Cousin Photos

Cousins are the first friends we have as children.  No one will ever understand your crazy family like your cousins do, and they are the only friends guaranteed to be there for the rest of your life.

Go Team!

Our families have been divided up into four teams with a Tillman sibling heading up each team and keeping as many members of each family together.  Due to the numbers, the Switzers will have to be divided among other teams.  These teams will serve to represent groups for competition (sporting events, games, talent, fishing, etc.) and cooking dinner - one night for each team. 

Dave – Ernestine, Kristen, JC, Holly, Kris, Elijah, Tanner, Kayla

Sandi – Bud, Scott, Brandy, Ross, Leslie, Jackson, Elizabeth, Nathan  

Sue – David, Kim, Bethany, Michael, David Jr, Laura, Mason, Caroline, Annie 

Laurie – Angela, Clay, Carrie, Lorenzo, Shannon, Randy, Austin, Abigail, Lillian

 

We will have competitions throughout the week including sports (volleyball, croquet, Frisbee, fishing, darts); games (spades, hearts, Taboo, Trivial Pursuit, Scene It); Talent show; Tricks (off the slide, on the skis, on the wave runner).  As long as one member of the team participates, that team will get points. Sandi will work up a time when each thing can be offered and people who want to participate can and those who don’t want to don’t have to.  Medals will be awarded to 1^st place team.   Please comment if you come up with an idea for a game, sport or something else to include in the competition. 

Each team will be responsible for cooking dinner one night. 

We will gather for dinner and evening activities at the campsite since the cabins and houseboat are not big enough for all of us to get together at the same time.  The campsite has picnic tables, 4-5 grills for cooking, a covering and a firepit for gathering (it would be good if at least some of you could bring canvas folding chairs to sit around the fire).

Sandi's team - Monday night- Pork Chops and Salads
Sue's team - Tuesday night - Baked Ziti
Dave's team - Wednesday night - Mexican
Laurie's team - Thursday night - Fish

Please leave a comment for suggestions on food for the vegetarians.

Here is the schedule for the main events planned for the family reunion.  Not everyone will be participating in each portion of the reunion.  

Friday and Saturday       June 9-10         Travel to White Bluff to spend a few days  

Saturday and Sunday    June 10-11        Fun things in White Bluff

Monday-Friday              June 12-16        Travel to Dale Hollow 
                                          (about 2 hours east of White Bluff) 
                                          and stay 4 nights –leaving the morning of June 16

Friday-Saturday            June 16-17        Travel to Fall Creek Falls for 2 nights

Sunday                         June 18              Travel home
